CEM
The CEM laboratory from the University of Liège performs tests on electrical appliances in conformity with the International and European standards. The laboratory has more than 150 industrial references and provides services ranging from the development to the certification of their products in compliance with the European directive 2014/30/EU.
T
he whole measurement system is either driven by software (for fast full-compliant tests) or manually for R&D.
The laboratory is accredited ISO/IEC 17025 (see also the annex).
In addition to compliance tests, we provide :
- consultancy during the R&D process;
- competence on standards;
- pre-compliance tests.

Equipment under test (EUT) characteristics
Dimensions and weight:
- Table-top EUT: 0,60m x 1m x 1,2m and maximum 200kg ;
- Floor-standing EUT: cylindrical volume of 2m Ø and 2m high and maximum 1000kg.
