Electronic circuit design and sensors


The increasing demand for more sophisticated electronic circuits, performing a larger range of functions with reduced costs and power consumption, fuels continuously evolving applications including the design of devices for the Internet of Things (IoT).

ur research targets the modelling, design and experimental verification of (micro-)electronic circuits and sensors for a variety of applications with unique sets of requirements, such as high-speed, low-power consumption, increased sensitivity, and robustness to interference. The miniaturization of sensors, the corresponding low-power interfaces, and the associated electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) challenges are of particular interest, as is the development of sensitive experimental techniques suited to low-level electrical, magnetic and thermal measurements, possibly in severe (high-voltage or cryogenic) environments.
